Quavaria is a Montreal-based, professional vocal quartet, created in 2010, that is noted for its vocal versatility and its musical chemistry.
The singers are mezzo-soprano and Artistic Director Christine Harel, soprano Catherine Brunelle tenor Dwain Richardson, and baritone Marc Belleau. Quavaria also performs a cappela and accompanied repertoire in various combination of singers. The ensemble creates memorable moods that highlight a variety of musical styles. Pianist and arranger Antoni Carlone accompanies the ensemble.
The four classically trained signers have explored many musical periods which has expanded their palette of vocal colors and stylistic flexibility. They have sung in operas, professional choirs, and numerous Montreal-based musical groups. Each singer comes from a different background, but they all share a unique passion for ensemble signing.
