QUARTOM

Quartom is an irresistible vocal quartet that combines perfectly mastered polyphony with an insane charm. A tenor, Kerry Bursey, two baritones, Julien Patenaude and Benoit Le Blanc, and a bass-baritone, Philippe Martel, all classically trained, take vocal harmonization to a level of seduction rarely achieved.

Capable of incredible virtuosity as well as delirious humour, these four singers are as skilled in opera arias as they are in operetta, sacred music or popular song. Their joy of singing is a contagious virus, and they will make you fall in love with their arias and their offbeat stage shows. Pleasure guaranteed!

The Quartom vocal quartet was founded in April 2008. With musical training ranging from children's choir to university master's degree, they offer a rich and varied repertoire.

Quartom now has five albums to its credit. The first, self-titled, in 2013, includes some of the pieces from their show LA BONNE NOUVELLE SELON QUARTOM. A second in 2014, LE NOËL DE QUARTOM. The third in 2016, ACTE III on the ATMA Classique label, was critically acclaimed both for the quality of the performances and the originality of the content. The fourth RENAISSANCE was released in October 2018 and has already won critical and public acclaim and the Album of the Year - Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque at the 2020 Opus Awards Gala. Quartom's latest album, Rendez-vous, was released on October 2, 2020.

Over the past few years, Quartom has performed in many cities in Quebec, across Canada, in the United States, in Asia and in Europe.
