Quartom
The vocal quartet Quartom was founded in April 2008. With a musical background ranging from children’s choirs to graduate-level university studies, the ensemble offers a rich and varied repertoire, from classical to popular music.
Quartom has released six albums to date. The first, a self-titled album released in 2013, features a wide-ranging repertoire from classical works to popular songs. LE NOËL DE QUARTOM, released in 2014, was immensely popular, as was the accompanying show, which toured for more than seven years. Their third album, ACTE III, and their fourth, RENAISSANCE, released on the ATMA Classique label, were praised by critics both for the quality of their interpretations and the originality of the repertoire. RENAISSANCE was awarded Album of the Year – Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque Music at the 2020 Opus Prize Gala.
In October 2020, in the midst of the pandemic, Quartom released their fifth album, RENDEZ-VOUS.
In November 2023, they launched their sixth album, and second Christmas recording: Dernier Noël. Every piece on this album was arranged by the outstanding Simon Leclerc. The concert associated with this album has been performed multiple times in various venues across Quebec since its release.
Quartom has collaborated with artists such as Lisa LeBlanc, Pascale Picard, Groovy Aardvark, Marie-Élaine Thibert, and Marc Labrèche, and has participated in tribute shows to Piaf as well as charitable events. Since 2017, Quartom has also performed the national anthems at the Bell Centre on seven occasions before Montreal Canadiens hockey games, including on December 17, 2024.
Since its inception, Quartom has performed in concert throughout Quebec and Canada, in the United States, Belgium, France, and Taiwan.
In the corporate sector, Quartom has taken part in numerous events and promotional activities with organizations such as MasterCard, the Port of Montreal, the Quebec CPE Executives, the G20, and the Fondation Maman Dion, among others.
