Dr. Françoise Chagnon is a highly sought-after ortho-laryngologist who treats many of Quebec’s finest professional singers. This dedicated and knowledgeable specialist will talk to us about the functioning of the vocal folds and take questions about challenges that we have faced as a solo or choral singer.
Ariane Martel Speech Therapy
Following her studies in classical singing at McGill University, Ariane Martel began a professional master's degree in speech therapy at the University of Montreal in 2022, driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge of the vocal apparatus and the mechanics of singing. Through her hospital internships and experience as a singer, she has developed expertise in vocal disorders. Ms. Martel is also a recognized voice teacher and vocal coach.
